CYCLADE ~ Akrotiri Stud Earrings in Gold or Silver
Description
On the ancient isle of Thera, light was not a metaphor. It was a theology.
The Minoan people of Akrotiri painted the sun into their walls, spiralled it into their pottery, and wore its symbols close to the body — understanding that to carry a sacred form was to carry its power. The Akrotiri Studs speak that same language: a 7mm circle and a slender teardrop, set with two natural black round brilliant-cut diamonds (0.08ct total).
The circle is the sun — eternal, unbroken, the light that returns without fail. The teardrop is the first drop of sacred rain, of light descending into form, of the divine feminine entering the world. In ancient Aegean cosmology, these were not decorative shapes. They were a conversation between heaven and earth, held in miniature, worn at the ear — the place where the divine was said to whisper.
Crafted in 9ct yellow gold (0.81g) or non-tarnish silver (1.21g), they carry that conversation forward. Each piece arrives with a certificate of authenticity.
The ancients knew that light, worn close enough, becomes your own.
